About BEDALE
Among Barbour’s iconic models, the "BEDALE" stands out as a favorite. Inspired by short jackets popular in France during the 1980s, it was developed by then-chair Margaret Barbour as a versatile piece for equestrian wear.
While carrying the design elements of the 1960 "SOLWAY ZIPPER" hunting jacket, it was updated to be more practical for horseback riding.
